Our Beginnings…

Jan Miller, owner of Sew Cool Designs began designing and sewing for her daughters when they were children. Her love for sewing and for fashion design rubbed off as they would often come to her with new fashions to create.

Jan has extensive experience and knowledge of textiles, sewing and fashion design. She has made unique baby fashions, award winning doll clothing, amazing gymnastics/dance leotards, mother daughter coordinates, and accessories and eventually contemporary young adult styles.

Her daughters share her passion for fashion design and continue to inspire her with fabric selections, product development, and fabric designs.

SewCool Clients/Customers are often approached at work, in airports, and at malls by people who admire the style, in fact that is how the business got its name – people would say, “that is so cool! Where did you get it?”
